Window light, air conditioning, and lanai humidity affect how quickly a pot dries. Coarse bark and mineral particles help create air spaces, while coir holds moisture. The right balance depends on the plant and pot.
A different mix does not replace drainage or fix damaged roots. For soft or discolored roots, read the root rot guide or start with a diagnosis.
Use pest supplies with a care plan
Sticky traps help monitor adult flying pests. They do not treat every pest or stop larvae in the soil. Identify the problem before choosing a treatment.
Start with the fungus gnat guide or ask about pest management. Follow each product’s label.
Add supplies to a care visit
For a Bloom visit or Grove membership, ask Jaci to plan the mix, quantity, and vessel for your plants. Products are optional and quoted separately from services.
