Sooner or later every healthy plant outgrows its pot. I handle the whole job at your home: the right container, a soil mix blended for that plant, a careful transplant, and no dirt left on your floor.

What a repotting visit covers
- The right call on timing. Not every struggling plant needs a bigger pot, and repotting at the wrong moment adds stress. I check first.
- The right pot: correct size jump, real drainage, and a look that fits your home.
- The right mix. Aroids, succulents, orchids, and ferns all want different soil. Bagged all-purpose mix suits none of them perfectly.
- Root work where needed: loosening circling roots, trimming rot, and giving the plant a clean start.
- Aftercare instructions so the plant settles in instead of sulking.
Why the mix matters more than the pot
In Florida's humidity, a heavy mix stays wet long enough to rot roots, which is why so many repotted plants decline instead of thriving. Fast-draining, airy mixes matched to each plant type prevent the single most common cause of houseplant death here: too much water held too long.

Two ways in, same visit and same price. A consultation is the whole collection: every plant identified, assessed, and put on a routine. A health diagnosis is one plant in trouble: what went wrong, and whether it can come back.

The fix gets done
Every visit ends with a written plan, and most of it you can do yourself. When you would rather not, the treatment is the next booking and I do the work: repotting into the right mix and pot size, or a full pest treatment cycle across the collection.

Routine care is what makes the first two steps hold. Recurring visits handle the watering, feeding, grooming, and a health check every time, whether you are home or away. Canopy adds support between visits; Grove wraps the whole year.

Once the collection is healthy, the fun part: new plants chosen for the light a room really gets, and arranged so they look like they were meant to be there.
You can stop after step one. Plenty of people take the written plan and run with it, and that is a good outcome. Nothing here rolls over into anything else on its own.
Common questions
How do I know my plant needs repotting?
Roots circling the surface or poking out the drainage holes, water running straight through without soaking in, growth that stalled, or a plant that dries out days faster than it used to. If you are not sure, send a photo through the booking form and I will tell you.
Do you bring the pots and soil?
I bring the soil, fresh mixes blended for each plant type, and I can bring pots too if you tell me your style, or work with pots you already own. Materials are billed at cost alongside the visit.
Is repotting risky for the plant?
Done at the wrong time or into the wrong mix, it can be. Done properly, most plants barely notice. Each repot comes with simple aftercare instructions for the few weeks the plant is settling in.
